You did a very good job on this post. We tend to follow the crowd (no pun intended) and, later, realize that we're going in the wrong direction. Twitter feeds the ego like being the popular kid in high school or college. You didn't have to have substance (content), you could make it on looks (spam) alone...at least for a little while. =)

Small businesses completely out-perform large ones when it comes to customer service. Not only is it important but I speculate that it's one of the primary reasons people will pay more for services and sometimes products from small businesses.

I also predict that customer service is likely to become even more important as the years coming.

My light bulb just went off! I think I'm going to head over two Referral Key and post a blog on this one.

Agreed! In a prior venture I didn't have the love, and as a result, bumps in the road seemed like crises. Now that I love what I do - and can see the difference that I make in entrepreneurs' lives - challenges are much easier to handle. Great post, Elliott!

I completely agree that attitude truly is everything... And combine a positive attitude, with passion and determination- oh my goodness, what a winning combo! As a professional organizer, I've definitely experienced more challenges, (who hasn't I suppose), though I am so grateful for the opportunity to run a business myself, that I don't mind it. I love the saying, "the stuggle makes us stronger"- so focus on the positives and keep pressing forward!

I think you missed what I'm talking about. I use one email (GMail) address with several email addresses pointing to it. There is no current way on the iPhone to simply add an email address to reply from unless you've added it as an entire account.
